Well, either you could use a free acount with those described above, or you can go through a host to make your own blog.

My preferred free weblog is xanga.com

Or you can make your own with photoshop, dreamweaver, and maybe html if you are good with it, buy a domain name (usually 9.99 a year, very cheap) I go through godaddy.com to ftp all the websites I have created.

I prefer Blogger, though both mentioned above are also great alternatives. Try Blogger out first and if you don't like it, then try WordPress. (I use Blogger)
